What is this fanlisting about?
This fanlisting is for the charcater Tess Harding from the TV Show Roswell.

Tess appears first in Crazy (117) and soon becomes friends with Isabel. Max also realizes very soon that he feels attracted to her in a special way. In Four Square they kiss for the first time and since then the relationship between Tess and the rest of the group is slightly tense because everybody thinks Tess just wants to get in between Liz and Max. Even when they find out that Tess is one of the 'Royal Four' nobody seems to trust her because now they just see her as a killer. When they finally find out that this suspicion is wrong everybody accepts Tess as a part of the group even if they still don't show any kind of nice behaviour towards her. Especially Liz and Maria want to isolate Tess.

Tess believes in their destiny and all she wants is to return to her real home where she and Max have once been happy together. This behaviour is no surprise since she was brought up by Nasedo who told her all her life that she had to get Max back and then return to Antar.

After Nasedo is killed Tess moves in with Kyle Valenti and his father. As the time goes by Jim becomes more and more a father for Tess and she sees Kyle as a brother. Tess, who's always hold onto her past as an alien becomes more and more human. She gets to know human traditions like what it's like to have a real Christmas. But when the day comes when Tess realizes that she's pregnant with Max's child and that the baby can't survive on earth she kills Alex to get information on how to get back to Antar.

In The Departure (222), the last episode of season 2, Tess leaves earth alone with her unborn child. Later we get to know that the baby is human and hasn't been accepted on Antar. So Tess returns in season three's episode Four aliens and a baby. Protecting her child is most important for her and so she sacrifices herself in the end to save her baby. And even if everything seems to be evidence for Tess's death it isn't sure if she really died.
